We have stamped 3,000 two dollar bills with a heart. They have been distributed various ways throughout the community. This two dollar bill serves as a gift to the receiver. A two dollar bill is not a lot, but still…these are unique bills. It’s kind of like the feeling when you find money on the ground. No strings attached. Free. As observers see these two dollar bills floating around the Island being spent and traded, we hope they will be reminders that what we exchange everyday is not money or services, but pieces of our hearts. With each social interaction we stamp each other with unique combinations of energy and light. We hope this money will infuse a conscious exchange of love into our community.
